Bode Packaging is a specialist in lashing and securing and the images below show one of our projects where we were able to help a customer. In this project, a boat propeller needed to be secured seaworthy for transport. For this purpose, the boat propeller was placed on a flat rack, which made lashing and securing easier for this object.
To maintain the correct balance during transport, large wooden beams were placed under the boat screw to ensure that the pressure on the flat rack was properly distributed. Additional wooden blocks were placed underneath the screw so that the object remained horizontal during transport. Finally, the entire load was secured with lashing straps.
