Bode Packaging holds PEFC certification. The certifications PEFC stands for: Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes. PEFC is a worldwide non-profit organisation, the purpose of PEFC is to ensure that all forests in the world are sustainably managed. When the entire supply chain is certified, this is called Chain of Custody. We supply PEFC certified packaging from our locations.
ISPM15 was drafted by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). It is a world standard for measures for wooden packaging. The measures prevent spread of live pests through transport of wooden packaging. Bode Packaging treats all its wood according to ISPM15.
The Lean and Green award is given to companies in the logistics sector that run CO2 reduction programmes. The goal of Lean and Green is to achieve a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions in five years. Bode Packaging aims to achieve a sustainable business process and to keep improving this in the future.
