We were asked to package hydraulic units for one of our customers. These units had to be prepared for international sea transport. The hydraulic units consisted of various parts. Several cases had to be made to transport the complete units. We made a specific customised export packaging for each component. This way, the units reached their destination safely.
This particular custom export packaging involved multiple sea freight cases. One large sea freight case was made for the largest part of the unit and one small sea freight case for the remaining part of the unit. Before the units were placed in the cases, they were packed with a sail against weather conditions that could affect the unit during transport. After the units were ready for transport, a transporter took the units to the ship which carried them further towards their final destination.
